Yesterday my call flock went flying. I was sitting on the deck and saw my pastel male, Munchie, do a crash landing. He's heavier than the others and isnt as good at flying. Today he seems tired and his eyes keep closing... I have never seen this and dont know what's causing it. I'm hoping he didnt get too injured when he landed. I didnt really see how bad he landed because it was behind the fence. I'm really worried and any help is appreciated.

@casportpony or @Isaac 0 do you think this could possibly be a concussion? he seems to be involuntarily closing his eyes. He is acting normal otherwise eating, drinking, foraging, and running; however he cannot seem to keep his eyes open for long and even has them closed while doing most of these things. He can open his eyes and keeps them open for a couple minutes or so but then closes them again or keeps one open and the other closed. No other symptoms that I've noticed. Is there something I can do? I'm really hoping he will be ok.

Sorry to hear about that, could you post a picture of his eye? If he is having a hard time blinking you can lubricate it with an ophthalmic lubricant for animals.
I've already put them away for the night but maybe I can post a picture tomorrow. Its not really that he's having a hard time blinking. He's just really tired and keeps closing one or both of his eyes. This just started today and yesterday was when he had the "crash landing". I'm really worried.

Well I let the ducks out this morning and sat with them for a half hour. Little munchie was no longer doing this at the moment. I’m not sure if he was just really tired out from the whole thing or if he could have hurt himself. He flew around the yard, ate breakfast, foraged, and walked around all without closing his eyes. If he does start doing it later I’ll post a video.
Thanks,
Rachel
