NEW TO THE SITE >>>> My (call duck) hen is wanting to nest. Our temp is only 25° . Every time I try to take her egg . The drake goes after me , then she comes flying at me. I have been taking the eggs any how. But is this going to make her, not want to sit , When we do get warm ??? Should I just leave her alone ?? I remember when I was a kid. My grandpa put plastic eggs under his chicken . Should I do that ?? This is my first ducks . I have 2 all white call hens , 1 all white drake, 1 gray hen and 1 gray drake . 3 chickens . They all just run my yard and all the neighbors . I had caged them but the neighbors ask me to set them free . They like them eating the bugs. Some of them said their dog's have not had any fleas or tic's . My dog and cat have not either. 2 of my ducks come to the door when they want to sleep in the dogs bed. Thank any of you for any info .
