How can I get my duck to lay eggs any tricks or ideas?

I have one but he seems to be scared of the girls.

Hes a year and a half and only mates with one of them. The others are mean to him they always chase him away. He always stays with the one hen.

That's not good at all. Try putting them in side by side pens. That way they can communicate back and forth for a couple weeks. (About 3-5 weeks) also put the hen he mates with in with the drake so the other ducks will know he won't harm them. I've had this same problem before and we had to get rid of our "bully ducks".

I would give her laying mash or laying pellets. If that doesn't work she's probably infertile. How old is your hen?
