call duckling pipped on day 22

I'm hatching my first call ducks and was checking the eggs this morning and one has pipped on day 22. I thought it usually took 25 to 26 days for them to hatch and hadn and had planned to lock them down tomorrow. Has anybody had call ducks to start hatching so early ?

maybe the temperature is too high, and if it's too low, it will hatch later.

I just got home from work and it"s still wiggling around. Hopefully it will finish hatching when it's ready and will be fine.

Good luck! Sometimes you just end up with an early hatcher. Keep an eye on him to be sure he's making progress.

Still doing good ! Wiggling and peeping. I peeled back as much of the shell as I dared. Will keep updating.
