Calling all blue cochin lovers!!!

the light one is not a splash, shes just light for a blue. She just has one of those random dark feathers you know, like the random black fleather my white rock had until i couldnt stand it anymore and yanked it out

Wow they are gorgeous. The darker one looks like my little lena who is a product of a white cochin mixed with a black cochin she has the blue lacing on her chest just like yours Awesome girls ya got there!

The lighter one is the color of the two self blue cochin bantams I got from Ideal. Was supposed to get 3 but they must've run out, my third one ended up being a regular blue(darker) but beautiful.

They are so pretty! I love the lighter one but the judges may prefer the darker. Enjoy them while young. They learn how to get so dirty when they get older. Lots and lots of photos.

Those are pretty girls! I have four from ideal in the brooder at the moment and hoping they look like the darker one when they grow out their feathers.

Very pretty birds! I also have blue Cochins pullets-out of the five, three are blue and two are splash. I can't wait to see them full sized. Mine are just a bit smaller then your two.

Oh your birds are very pretty, I like both shades of blue! I have some blue cochins hatching right now. So far I think I have one splash - it is very silvery looking, but can't be sure yet until I have something to compare it to. I have 4 others that have pipped and a few more that I am still hopefull for.

I think these birds are very pretty and have a great reputation for being broody - which is why I picked them - I need a broody for my ducks.
