Calling all silkie mammas & poppas

I have 2, 1 month old little silkies. Tonight my son & I just realized while handling them.....one has pink skin rather than black....her beak is lighter...comb is pinkish.... and her eyes are not black at all. More amber/hazel? Her legs/feet are black with 5 toes. I am saying girls.... but anyone is welcome to chime in about their genders ....PLEASE feel free.

Is this common?
They came from very nice stock, eggs taken from pens of cuckoo....blue....splash.
Perfect little toes and really a very pretty light silver color right now. Sterling silver to be exact.
Love to hear what you all think please.

The Cukoo influence is the problem. It is extremely difficult to breed out the red comb and lighter skin color in Cukoo Silkies. These bad traits tend to show up more in males than in females. At least that has been my experience.

Looks like the first one has a single comb and is a cockerel. I agree with Tom, if it does have cuckoo blood, thats where the light skin and eyes came from, although it can come up in other varieties as well.
