Hi! I just joined last week. We're getting our first bunch of chickens in May. Getting the coop and run prepared. We're from Lebanon, CT...it's down in the southeast corner--near Norwich (casino area).

but i was going to try to get two ducks from a rescue in Lebanon but instead we're hatching some!

I will post pictures! We just got the wood delivered this morning for the new run and nesting boxes--I guess it's a real deal now. We have a 2 year old so she's going to have a blast with the little chickies when they come. I'm glad that my kids will grow up around animals. The duck rescue you talked about is just down the street from me.
