hello everyone i have got a few silver laced barnervelder hens and a splash barnervelder rooster i am currently incubating 6 eggs (i’m not sure if they will hatch as i’ve only had bruce the rooster a few weeks but i’ve seen him mounting them) does anyone know what they will look like will i get 50/50 of each or will i have a cross between the two i imagine black with extra lacing i’m just curious and if they hatch will show everyone how they look if your curious i will insert images of them here the hens look a bit rough as they have just started molting this week

DONT MIND THE GUINEA FOWL ON THE HENS BACK MY ENTIRE FLOCK OF HENS DECIDED THEY WOULD RAISE 8 GUINEA FOWL TOGETHR. they also are wet that’s why theirs feathers look like that

Please bear in mind that I'm stumbling through genetics but I *think* If you had normal red laced Barnevelder and silver laced Barnevelder I believe the the chicks will be black, and the lacing *might* be sex link but splash is the wild card.
So I *think* blue chicks with possible sex linked lacing, females will have darker red lacing, males will have lighter/ yellowish lacing.
