Can 1 week old chicks have worms??

My babies have reddish yellow runny poo. Is this normal? They are approx. 1 week old give or take a few days. Today when I was changing the paper towels that they are on I noticed a couple of poos that looked like they could have some clear wormy things in it. Is this possible as they are so young? When will it be safe to give them Wazine?

If it looks like melted chocolate, you are probably noticing cecal poos, which happen regularly and are completely normal:

It could be cecal poos, or it could be cocci. Does it look like there is blood in it, or is it just chocolatey looking, as gritsar stated?

It is reddish and yellowish. I hope it is not cocci. They are acting fine. I have a round of cocci in my 5 week olds before and now I am a freak about reddish looking poo!!
