Can 16 week old chooks be vaccinated against Marek's disease?

My daughter had two sablepoots together with some pekins and silkies. One of the "poots" died with obvious symptoms of Marek's. The other now has a drooping wing. I read the thread about hypericum and she will try that but is it possible to have the remaining birds vaccinated now or is it too late? My own pekins and silkies were with them at the beginning but are now separated.

My understanding is that if they have already been exposed then the vaccine is useless. They need to be vaccinated before exposure.

Plus, the vaccine does not prevent them from spreading the virus, it only prevents the paralysis.
