Can a Broody hatch Quail eggs?

My Goldy has gone broody, again! I don't want/need anymore chickens, I can't keep up with egg production now! My friend wants me to get some quail eggs for her to sit on and give them to him to release on his property when they get big enough. Is this possible? Is it a good idea?
