How well do Chanteclers take hot weather? Or, more specifically, how well do you think they would take 90-98 degree summers, with occasional low 100s for heat indexes? I live in southwestern North Carolina, and we have hot summers (but not too hot) and cold winters (but not too cold). I know that Chanteclers were developed mainly for enduring cold climates, but I didn't know what exactly they could handle. Do you think that, if they were given a well-ventillated coop to retreat to, and also given a sprinkler or two to run through, they could stand the temps I gave? If anyone knows, please tell me!

In Mn & Wi it frequently gets into the 90s with high humidity in July & Aug. The Chanteclers seem to adjust without any problems. Of course shade and good amount of fresh water in drinking founts is needed. I have never misted any birds.
