I have 4 EE's, one FBCM and 2 Buff Brahmas.
One of the Buff Brahmas can NEVER...and I mean NEVER , pick up a meal worm or any other treat from my hands, or off the ground. I actually have to hole her and nearly shove it in her mouth or she misses out on the treats! I suppose if she had enough time, she would get it eventually, but the others grab it avfter she tries 8 or 10 times
She eats fine...course all she has to do is get her face in the crumbles
She also does this weird "dance" thing sometimes that looks as though she is trying to eye in on and catch a fly...but there is no fly. She just kind of stares up at the sky and jerks her head back and forth like she is chasing something. Sounds sad, but she is a wonderfully friendly hen and my biggest too!
Anyone have a chicken like this? Is she farsighted or brain damaged??? LOL, but....Im kind of serious...
