Can a chicken get sunburn?

My chicken has no feathers on her wing from an accident as a chick and it is really dry and red. She has a lot of shade she just chooses not to go under the trees. Can I put sun screen on her? And what can I use to make her skin not so dry?

I hear coconut oil works well for dry, raw, burnt skin in chickents.

Coconut oil is amazing and has so many uses!!!! It's also a natural sunscreen, antibacterial, anti fungal, great moisturizer, and I could on and on lol. Not to mention it's cheap and easy to find.

I'd use it!
