Can a chicken's nails be too short?

One of my girls, a BLRW, is such a great scratcher and forager her nails are really shorter than my other girls. Should I be concerned? Can she ware them down to the point of injury?

Probably no need to worry, if she wears them down to the point of injury it will hurt and make her stop. I would just keep an eye on her anyway, just to make sure she isn't OCD about it!
