Can a duckling get a tick?

My ducklings are 2 weeks old and thriving! However, one of them has what feels like a tick on the top of it's head. Is this possible? Do I remove it like I would any other tick? Could it be something else? Any help is much appreciated, thank you!!

My turkeys used to get ticks so I assume waterfowl can, too.

Yes ...And they can also get Tick fever......Remove the tick ASAP..

Thank you! I went to pull it out and it wasn't a tick, it was a weird picky thing caught in it's fur. Thanks for the advice.
