Can a hen go broody when she has chicks ?

Ok , my isa brown went broody ages ago , so we put some eggs under her only 2 hatched and she looks after them very well. They are 7 weeks old and now she has gone in the nestbox and started sitting on them again and now the babys are following her ???:/

Oh yeah, 7 weeks is certainly old enough for the broody to be done with the chicks and decide she wants to hatch another batch.
