Can a horse get sick from eating a raw chicken egg?

One of our chickens is getting into the horse stalls and laying an egg in one of the horses feed trays. A couple of times now I've found the egg broken and half eaten; it could be the horse eating it....but I'm not sure. Your thoughts?

Maybe the horse, but I doubt it. Would not hurt him if it was. I would be more worried about another predator, like a skunk, they really like eggs.

I don't think a horse would eat an egg. It might be getting broken as the horse is eating its hay. In fact, I don't think that raw/old egg would be good for a horse.
