Can a mature bantam rooster determine the sex of Silkies sooner than a human?

Has anyone enlisted the help of a bantam rooster, or any rooster, to assist in determining the sex of young Silkies? Can a rooster by it's reaction help in this? At what age, of the Silkies, might this be possible?

Just a follow up. I've moved two Silkie roosters in with my general flock that has 3 Jersey Giant roosters and one bantam Old English Game rooster. The run is 50'x50'. One of the silkies crows on a regular basis, that silkie rooster mercilessly dominates the other silkie rooster. Only the third (in the pecking order) Jersey Giant appears to recognize the dominant silkie rooster, as a rooster. That third JG rooster only occasionally, and halfheartedly, chases the dominant silkie.

Unfortunately I didn't receive any silkie hens to see if regular feathered roosters recognize a silkie hen vs. a silkie rooster.

Note: The same JG roosters regularly assert dominance with the bantam OEG rooster, but he's too fast and light for them to ever touch him.
