Can an Australorp rooster breed a Silkie hen?

I've got an opportunity to add three Silkie hens to my flock (want to mainly for their tendency to go broody) but am wondering if the size difference between my Australorp Roo will be too much difference for him.

I wouldn't mix the two breeds, the other way around can work but your Australorp rooster could seriously hurt a silkie hen. Bantams and silkies do best with their own sized birds as well as the more mellow temperament of other bantams.
