Hi, my HovaBator 1588 Genisis came with an electronic thermostat built in, I also have an incu therm plus thermometer. The incubator reads 99.5 but my other themometer reads 102. I guess what I am asking is how accurate is the genisis thermostat? What should I do?

I would use a medical thermometer stuck into a water wiggler or similar object (after a couple of hours to normalize the temperature) and determine what the real temperature is.

Did you have luck with the thermometer in the past?
I don't trust anything till I verify it against a guaranteed accurate one. How about checking them against a fever thermometer?
Until verified, I'd shoot for the middle. Drop the thermostat 1 degree so if the thermometer is correct, you won't cook the eggs.
