Hi there..... I adopted this flock from a neighbor after her mom passed from cancer so I dont have any info on them except that they were fed parrot food and grass.. which of course I have now changed to a good layer and grain mix.. I reconize the RhodeIsland Red and The Barred Rock.... there are 2 small (bantams??) one gold and one grey both with feather feet. I have had them about a month plus now and all seem healthy and happy and ate laying... I get Brown eggs, Blueish Green eggs, small white eggs.. and every couple days I get a small almost round brown speckled egg that HAS NO YOLK???? Never seen that before and most of my friends with chickens think Im nuts when I tell them there's no yolk in the egg. Any help, insight or info you have would be awesome:)
Happy Clucking:)

Here's my only input, your rooster looks like a Black Australorp, the last one is definately a Lavender Orpington. Some of them look like Easter Eggers. The third picture down, chicken all the way to the left looks like a Silver Laced Wyandotte. You should try to get more close ups, some of the experts on here could I.D. every one of them for you.

Hard to identify for sure. You might need pics that show a bit more detail. If you are getting blue/green eggs, there is a good chance you have some Easter Eggers (Ameraucana crosses) or maybe even Ameraucanas themselves, although they are a bit more rare. Most EEs will have green legs. The brownish-grey hen in the center of the top pic looks like she could be EE, and the second from bottom is also a possibility. They are quite variable, and usually have extra feathers around their face (beards and muffs). The all black ones could be Australorps, but I am more of a chicken enthusiast than an expert.

Look in the breeds section of the site to see if your chickens resemble the guesses. Leg color and comb type are common traits that will help with identification.

Don't know what causes yolkless eggs, but there's probably info on this site somewhere! Hope you get some more input.

Congratulations on your new feathered friends and

Thank You for the info.....I will try to get better pics of the ladies this weekend in the sunshine. The Roo has been asserting himself the last couple weeks and being a bit testing when I am in the coop

the day I was taking pics he was very persnickity about me taking pics and got the girls all in flustered.... the photo session ended with him getting the feed bucket on his head. He has been better behaved since so Ill try again this weekend for some up close photos.

Thanks so much for the comments.... the Lavender Orpington was one that I had no idea what she was.. after your comment I researched and am so happy with the help:)
