I have a few hens that I don't know their breed. I was wondering if anyone can help. The black one with the red neck lays green eggs but I have several like her that lay brown eggs, I know she is an EE mix, but not too sure what she is mixed with. Also I have a broody hen that I haven't a clue what breed she is. She is a huge black hen with a gray ring around her neck.

here is the green egg layer:

here is the big black hen with gray neck:

her again,a better closeup:

and here is a light gray hen not sure of,lays brown eggs:

any suggestions would be a help...thanks ahead of time.

The first one is an EE.
Second ones looks like Black Giant but the white throws me off a little.
The third looks like a EE too, might just have the tan colored eggs.

Thanks, but the one you said that looks like a black giant actually has light gray around her neck. My youngest daughter calls her "Old Lady" lol...cause she looks like she has a light gray scarf around her neck. I thought my light gray hen was an EE too(I have one that is dark gray and lays green eggs). Although with the light gray hen I do think she lays light tan or cream colored eggs.I will have to keep and eye on her and see.Might be able to get a picture of it. I hope anyways. Now, about the first one, the black with red(or orange on her chest...the EE. She threw me off because I have about 6 others that look just like her except for the cone ..theirs is larger. That is the only way to tell the difference....and they all lay brown eggs. Could they be related but just a mix of EE and something else? You can see one in the last picture, just in front of the light gray hen. She looks like the top picture except the cone is larger.
