Can anyone tell me what breed of chick this is? It's supposed to be a black Australorp rooster, but the pictures that come up have no red spot. Any help is appreciated

It looks like an australorp to me. What is the red spot that you are referring to?

The chick has red/orange above his beak, between his eyes.

The black Australorp pullets I have don't have the orange/red spot, just black.

Ohhh... If you bought them already sexed, the red is probably just a spot of dye so that they (and you) would be able to tell which was the male.

I didn't realize they put dye on them, I couldn't find any breeds with the red spots on the internet. That explained allot
