Hello all you awesome chick ID-ers.

We got these at a TSC thinking they were partridge silkies. As they started to get their feathers, they are not silkied, they are flat. Black straight comb. Plus, in our excitement, we didn't realise the legs are clean.

There were several of them. We just got two since we aren't big into silkies, we just really loved the coloring. I just thought it was strange that if it's a poor quality silkie, it's REALLY poor. Clean legged, regular feathers, straight comb. Hoover hatchery supplies TSC around here, but they don't carry partridge silkies.

Somewhere on this forum I read that a hatchery (don't remember which one) that some TSCs use are breeding a new Silkie hybrid.

Maybe that's what this one is? If not, I agree with everyone else.
