Pond is ready for liner, ( drain pipe in, pond framed, level )

Liner in place, you can just see the ring of the drain pipe.

Cut thru liner from center of drain hole to almost edge of pipe, will look like a star.

Push liner down over drain pipe.

Cut off points of liner that stick up above drain pipe.

Put hose clamp around drain pipe to hold liner in place.

Cut a stand pipe, (piece of pipe that will be inserted in drain pipe) to the desired water level.
