This is my Austrolorp! Can anyone tell the gender?





And this is my light Sussex

They are around 6-7 weeks

I'm almost positive the sussex is a pullet. If that's the wattles I'm seeing in the first picture, then I believe the austrolorp is a cockerel. However, that's just my entirely unprofessional opinion. ^-^

Aussie looks like a roo-my girls are much older and do not have those combs yet!

I agree with the Australorp being a roo.

However, your second chicken is not a Light Sussex.

I'm with K Spot, the Aussie is a young roo and the second bird is a pullet, but that's not a light Sussex. Light Sussex are Colombian colored, white with black tails and collars, basically, and I think pink or white skin. That bird looks like a gold sex link.
