I am not sure and don't know how to tell but I do know that they are called Peafowl, male Peafowl are Peacocks, females are Peahens, and babies are Peachicks. So you should be asking "are these peacocks or peahens." Sorry, I just got confused by the title, I originally thought you were asking if these were peafowl or chickens.
