What I'm saying is just because that bird doesn't lay obviously brown eggs does not mean it's not a Cornish bantam. It's a very light coating of brown pigmentation, it can be enhanced through breeding though.
I would be kind of surprised if she was purebred. The one time my husband goes to a chicken swap without me he gets a chicken and asks zero questions. She has a single comb, & those lay brown eggs. I don't think she's purebred.
I tried. She’s not very approachable and my zoom is not great. I’ll try when she goes to sleep. Can you get a better picture of her comb? It looks pretty Pea like to me, but I'm on a phone so I miss some things
I didn't say that, but white isn't what they're supposed to lay. That's all. What I'm saying is just because that bird doesn't lay obviously brown eggs does not mean it's not a Cornish bantam.
It looks Just like my cornish bantam hens that I have owned for years.
