Can anyone tell me what breed these are?

so... I got a mixed batch of eight birds and was told they were speckled Sussex and a buff orphington. I have one hen that appears to be a speckled Sussex, one that is a buff orphington and the rest I am unsure of! Can anyone help?









They are about 7wks in the first 3 pics, 9wks in the last three....

I don't know the breed on the black and white ones, but you have almost all cockerels there. More info below...

Only the bird on the left could be a pullet.

Only the brown speckled bird could be a pullet. Does look like a Speckled Sussex.
The gold bird could be a number of different breeds from this angle. It's the only pullet I see in this photo.

White/barred bird is a cockerel.

I *think* based on this pic that your gold bird is a Red Sex Link pullet. I see white in the tail, correct?

I see at least 3 or 4 cockerels and I'm thinking their a mixed breed chicken! Maybe they have some Ancona in them! I'm not really sure though!

any idea what the white/barred cockerel might be breed wise? I know they are mostly cockerels! I'm trying to figure out the breed so that I can try to find them homes...

yes. the golden hen is definitely lighter buff toward her hind end.

They look like mostly mixed breeds, except for the brown/white bird, which is a Speckled Sussex pullet. The buff/white bird is probably a Red Sex-Link pullet. The black/white ones might be mixed with Ancona or Mottled Java, and appear to be all roosters (except for the far left bird in the first photo).

I'd just advertise them as mixed cockerels. Honestly, they are what they are, it's not like anyone's going to be buying them for SOP breeding or anything like that.
