Can anyone tell me what this is and how to treat it?

I just noticed this where the tail feathers should be coming in. She is a barred rock and will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. What is it and how do I treat it? TIA!

Feather picking is an obsessive destructive problem, but there are remedies for it. Consider the following link, but keep in mind that your chick is only 3 weeks, so the recommendations of added fiber in the article is not a good idea since proper nutrition is important for growing birds. Feed a 20-22% chick crumble or game bird crumbles. Use poultry vitamins-electrolytes in drinkers 2-3 days a week skipping a day in between. On one of those days add Probios dispersible powder to drinkers at 1 tsp per gallon. Use a red light if you need warmth for them. here's a link with some tips:
