Can anyone tell me why my hen is balding on her side and should I be alarmed?

Not sure what is up with my little Marshmallow girl? Can anyone tell me what is going on with her? She acts normal and doesn’t seem to mind it.

If you don't see any feather picking from other birds or parasites, then perhaps it is molting. Sometimes they look patchy when they go through a molt.

Thank you MrFluffyandGirls. I wasn’t sure if it was her first molt, but my other hens are doing this as well now. Thank you for putting my mind at ease.
