One of my backyard Chickens was attacked by a predator Dog and injured.
She survived (so far), but is walking stiffly and is unable to jump to her normal perch.
Following your advice, I used some of my own experience and ingenuity to help ease her suffering. Thanks so much for the advice on easing pain for my Chicken.
My method was to crush approx. 1/8 of an aspirin in a small glass bowl, I contacted a friendly neighbor who provided me with some Marijuana flakes (I live in a State where it was recently legalized), I stirred the Aspirin and Marijuana into about 1/2 teaspoon of fresh cooked rice. She ate a portion of the rice coated with Aspirin and Marijuana then I put her in a private box to rest by herself. She seems to be responding well to this mixture.
Thanks Again
