Can baby chickens eat oatmeal?

I want to make a little flockblock for my 2-week-old EE chicks. However, to make it I need to use oatmeal to bind their feed together. Can the babies eat oatmeal? I know their crops are sensitive and they can't eat everything older hens eat (like layer crumbles), but can they eat oatmeal?

Yup. They'll be fine. Chick starter is best.

A scrabled egg will give them a big boost.

Ok, thanks

I'll add that to their treat. Right now they are eating hard-boiled egg and medicated chick starter but I guess scrambled egg they might like better

Make sure they are getting grit, too, if they aren't already. They don't need it for scrambled egg or chick starter, but they will for a flock block.
