Can both domestic and wild turkeys fly ??? Photoes appreciated.

Some of the big heavy one fly but not to well.....now the wild ones fly like pheasant ,quail ....yes even from the ground. For short flights.

We have wild ones every winter. They will take flight from the back yard from the ground, fly over the top of my house and thru the apt complex across the street to land in the fields on the other side. They are something. Have had them land on my deck... We feed them in the heaviest part of winter here... I love em. I like seeing them in my yard. I think they are just beautiful. They should be the national bird... lol
