I have a cute little silkie chick that is a little over a week old. I have a goose egg that is due to hatch any day now (it is in lockdown). Can shey share a brooder? It is just 1 chick and 1 goose.

Thanks.

I have my sons african and banty together. But we're newbies so *shrug*. Maybe it isn't right but it works for them just make sure to use unmedicated feed.

Last yr. I had Toulouse Goslings in with my chicks, all went well,,,,a few time a day though I would take them out to swim in a bowl or small pool, shallow enough that their feet could touch...

Just remember duck babies are very messy, and you will probably have to change your bedding more often..

Good luck!

A newborn baby goose is at least 3 times bigger than a week-old silkie, I'd be worried about it getting smushed!
