I've a always wanted to know if chickens can adopt eggs if they have been incubated but they aren't broody

The hen has to be Broody and nesting to sit on eggs. A not broody hen will not sit on the eggs so the embryos that have started in the incubator will die. If a hen happens to go broody while you are incubating eggs, you can put them under her.
