Can chickens eat figs?

I have a very large fig tree & was wondering if eating figs would be ok for chickens. I can only eat so many figs by myself!

Figs contains 3% of protein, which is not too much! Just for your information.

Thanks for the info on protein. It would be an occasional treat. I just wanted to make sure they weren't poisonous to chickens
