Can chickens eat fish?

Ok, I went fishing today for the state Trout Opener, and I had some scraps from the fish I caught.. I fed them the scraps, and they don't seem to have a problem. I am probably never going to do it again, as I am worried the fish bones could do something bad... Do you think they are alright? They seem fine at the moment, but I am worried some will experience problems...

I probably wouldn't give cooked bones, uncooked would be softer. I often give our birds the leftovers when we fillet fish.
