I'm making my (free range, organic) turkey today. I don't usually use the neck and those other things in that bag. If I boil them up can I feed them to my girls? Can I just throw the whole neck, bone and all, out for them?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

But I am just evil like that

I think my Grandmother just turned in her grave.

This just reminded me how every Thanksgiving, she would come in and announce to everone that SHE gets the neck. HA HA. Everyone else is like, yeah, you can have it. LOL

I have. The whole carcass after soup was made actually. Came back and ALL was gone. Chickens shared with the feral cats. Found a pile of bones later where the cats took the biggest parts and nibbled in peace away from the chickens.

My chickens like turkey so much we gotta watch out for the turkey next week so they don't get into it.

Well there is a turkey-neck-picking-fest going on out there!

Makes me want to cook turkey more often!

I better get some eggs for this!
