Can chickens get fleas?

DE works for me. With the little chicks I use a very fine doggie flea comb.

* I give mine a bath. If it's a bad infestation they get ivermectin. . but, they didn't get fleas even when the dog was drowning in them this summer.

Someone needs to make advantage for chickens. Also if you have bad flea infestation on your dog or cat. I highly reccommend triforce. No fleas on any of the dogs.

Ok, I don't know about chicken help, I wonder if avon's skin so soft would work. Anyway back to hijacking, my sister lives in a highly infested flea area and they have had great results with this for her dog.

Do a google search for "fleas on birds". There is a wealth of information there.

I use liquid Diazinon and spray it on, keeping the animals off of it until it dries (I do this in the Spring and end of Summer)...not a flea to be found. Works well for fleas, mites, millipedes etc etc.

It is important that the animals not get it on their feet/paws to later lick. It will make them sick and could be fatal if they get enough of it. Once it has dried you are fine. I would not use it if you free range and the girls can eat the grass with it on it.
