I've had chickens for a while and seen my rooster mounting one of the hens he's with, but they are not old enough to lay they still have 2 months before they lay eggs,so can they still mate if so is the sperm stored?

Yes, they can still mate even if the hens aren't laying. It can be a sign your hen might be close (or that your rooster is a real jerk and forcing himself on the pullets). They will store sperm, but not for that long. I believe they keep it for somewhere around 2 weeks, maybe a little more or a little less depending on the hen (and the fact that I can't exactly remember how long, but for sure not 2 months).
