Can chickens see blue light?

I hope this question isn't asked too often but I couldn't find an answer on the search function.

I've heard that chickens can see all colors except for "true blue". Is this true? If so I would like to use a blue light for winter heat and for viewing possibilities at night.

Chickens (birds in general) see a significantly wider spectrum of light than humans. Additionally, they have more types of visions receptors than humans. Yes, htey can see blue light.
