Can cochins be feather sexed?

Just as the title says...can they?

Sometimes, but you really have to know what you are looking for. The females feathers are more rounded, males more pointed on the tips. Generally males feather a lot slower on the back. Feather sexing can only be attempted when they are getting their back feathers.

So nothing like day old feather sexing lol Is there any other way to sex them as chicks?

I am not good at it either, I send pictures to a friend of mine that has raised them for 20 years......
