I have newly purchased two Crevecoeur chickens because my son wanted them. The lady that sold us the chickens said they will withstand cold temperatures but now what I am reading on the breed is that they are not so hardy. I live in BC Canada and the coldest it gets during the winter is -22 degrees Celius for a few days but mostly sits at -10 degrees Celius with a lot of snow. Does anyone have experience with cold temperatures and Crevecoeurs?

Thanks so much now I won't worry about them when winter comes.

Hi there. Do you still have Crevecoeurs?
