So we wanted doves --pigeons-- and I was thinking of putting them in the same coop where my hens are. It's a very spacious coop and my hens are extremely docile; considering they are different birds I was worried that they wouldn't get along. So is it possible? Can doves and chickens live together? thanks!

It is possible. Make sure the coop is tall enough for the pigeons to fly around and away from the chickens. Also make sure the pigeon feed is way out of reach of the chickens, because they will eat all of it before the pigeons get any. Good luck!

If you have head room in your coop, you could make a pigeon loft. The chickens wouldn't be using that space anyway.
