Can Ducks Drink Chlorinated Water?

We have been having water trouble, we have a deep well. Anyway, the water guy came today and fixed the problem and added two chlorine tabs to the water.. Then, I remembered the ducks, will this hurt them to drink and swim in it? I tried looking it up online and found conflicting things. One place says it will make them sick or kill them. One says it is safe for them to drink and swim in. HELP!!

My water is chlorinated and the ducks are fine. I haven't ever heard of a problem with this.

I live in the city and the water is chlorinated, so far no problems

All my birds ,reptiles and other critters drink and swim in chlorinated water.

I never thought about this until now. If you are really worried, you can let it sit for a night. This way, the chlorine will evaporate.

Thanks everyone. Maybe I worry to much about my duckies? I know I don't drink the chlorinated water, but, then ducks will eat and drink about anything
