Can Ducks Eat and Thrive in the grass where dogs poop and pee?

i have grass in the backyard and i have 3 dogs (2 yorkie terrier and a great dane) they poop and pee in the grass... is it ok if i can let the ducks thrive in 1 half of the grass that has been pooped on and peed on or no (because i also know that ducks eat grass and im worried if dog poop and pee will affect my ducks health because they are going to thrive and eat the grass) does anyone know

They cannot live on grass alone, but they’ll find unsoiled grass to eat.

I’d pick up the dog waste if you’re using the area just so that it’s clean. Ducks themselves will make quite a mess on the grass and depending on how much area it is, they’ll devour most of it in no time.

I’d be more concerned for the dogs eating duck poop mine love it! Just keep the dog poop up like was mentioned. Oh an by the way my dogs have been eating duck an Chicken poop if they get opportunity since 2004.

Ok I do have there food ready, yeast, grit, etc... Ready, but can I feed my ducks and then let them out in the grass for a couple of hours??

Oh and I'm not worried bout my great Dane licking the duck poop it's my 2 Yorkies

Yes you can, another thing here is my dogs will eat the poultry feed also so you’ll have to watch that. When they are out of their pen make sure they have plenty of water.

Mine are Mini Dachshunds so being low to the ground isn’t always so good. But my med size dog can find it too. lol
