Can fumes harm baby chicks?

I have 10, 4 week old chick living in a brooder in my bathroom, right next to the kitchen. We are having Linoleum laid in 2 weeks and I am worried that the fumes from the glue could harm the chicks. Are chicks as sensitive to fumes in the air as parrots? I’m moving my parrots out of the house for a few days while the project gets done, but I’m not sure what to do with the baby girls. I don’t think they are ready to go outside. Suggestions?

At 4 weeks they are ready to go outside at this time of year, I do it all the time. I definitely wouldn't keep them inside as the fumes probably won't be good for them at all. Better safe than sorry.
