Can hens lose respect for a rooster??

My hens have stopped letting my rooster mount them!! Much to his dismay!! Lol What could be happening? They have never spurned his advances before!

Not at all unusual if they are taking a break in the laying cycle/molting.

Yeah, it is getting to be that time of year. My chickens certainly breed much less in winter or when in molt. Mr. Roo is just going to have to take cold showers for a while.
